FRANKLIN, TN--(Marketwire - Jul 6, 2011) - In July, Naxos of America, the #1 independent classical music distributor in the U.S., will launch distribution for Acoustica and Sacconi Records in North America.

Sacconi Records ( http://www.sacconi.com/ ) features recordings from the Sacconi Quartet, one of the UK's leading string quartets. Since its formation at the Royal College of Music in 2001, it has established a secure and substantial reputation. The style and commitment of the ensemble communicates a fresh and imaginative approach to their music. Its four founding members share a passion for reaching out to audiences with their energy and enthusiasm for the string quartet repertoire. The resulting Sacconi recordings have been praised by MusicWeb International, Classical Music Magazine and International Record Review.

Acoustica is a Spanish record label that was created in 2010 by a group of classical music fans and professionals, to promote known and unknown works in the Spanish repertoire to the international market. The goal of the label is to grow with its artists, beginning with Spanish pianist Isidro Barrio, with whom Acoustica has already begun recording projects involving the works of Antonio Soler and Franz Liszt. The first release from this ongoing project is the only live piano recording of Liszt's " Poetic and Religious Harmonies" cycle. Acoustica also plans releases featuring the works of Spanish composers such as Albeniz, Manuel de Falla, Granados, and Turina.
