RuneScape Loyalty Programme, signing up, reward list from sign up page slideshow

RuneScape released the Loyalty Programme on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. This RuneScape guide provides an overview of how to sign up for the loyalty programme (despite an initial overload on day of release that caused RuneScape to seemingly pause registration) as well as an overview of the rewards and tier of points.

The attached Loyalty programme rewards as shown in the RuneScape Knowledgebase slideshow details how to find the link to sign up, illustrates the rewards and must be viewed to see the full list of known Loyalty Programme rewards currently available as of June 28, 2011.

RuneScape players earn loyalty points on a scale, earning more each consecutive month of membership. A gap in subscription of less than seven days does not count against the streak.

RuneScape players gain 500 loyalty points the first month, followed by 3,000, 5,000, and 7,000. The chart given only gave the first four months. RuneScape players who let 7-29 days elapse seem to lose two months off their streak (as shown in the table in the slideshow.) Allowing a gap of more than 30 days resets it to the start.

Currently, the only reward available from the regular price table is the cat fight emote. During the first two weeks RuneScape players can get a discount on a number of items (full list,) allowing RuneScape players to buy other rewards.

Rewards consist of Auras useable in game, emotes, outfits, titles, and ability to change color of items (currently pet rock and robin hood hat.)

How to get your parents to get you a membership, the options are:

1. Check your calendar. Is a major holiday? Try asking for membership as a present.

2. Convince your parents that you are mature enough. Do all of your chores without complaining, surprise them with a favor and don’t pick any fights with siblings.

3. Don’t be demanding. Sit down with your parents and show them what the game is, how it works, and the parent’s guide of the game. Some parents may change their minds if they know what’s going on.

4. Offer to pay for it yourself if they still say no. Promise to them that you won’t spend every waking moment on the computer. Make a promise sheet for you guys to sign saying what hours or how much time you are allowed to play Runescape if membership is allowed. Or another option is shorten or limit the membership by a few months, for example a six month limit. You can even spare out your monthly allowance in exchange for membership.
