Essentia Health announced the following physicians have joined the staff.

Dr. Grace Totoe , an internal medicine physician, will care for

hospitalized patients at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center and Essentia Health-Duluth. Totoe completed her residency at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Conn., and completed her fellowship at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She attended the University of

Science and Technology at Kumasi, Ghana, where she received bachelor’s degrees in medicine and surgery.

Dr. Jared Broadway joined the neurosurgery department at Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic. Broadway completed a residency and internship at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He received his medical diploma at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock.

Dr. Sinisa Vujkovic has taken on a new role as a hospitalist at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center and Essentia Health-Duluth.

Vujkovic, who was medical director at St. Mary’s Hospital-Superior and Essentia Health’s Superior Clinic, saw patients in the Internal Medicine

Department at the Superior Clinic.

Dr. Elmer Calica joined the Emergency Medicine Department at Essentia Health’s Northern Pines Medical Center in Aurora. Calica is certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Family Medicine. He received his medical diploma from Far Eastern University of the Philippines in Manila and completed his residency in family practice at the

University of Minnesota’s St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul.

Dr. Jonathan Nash joined Piedmont Heights Dental Associates in the practice of general dentistry. He provides a full range of dental services including oral exams, periodontal therapy, root canal treatment, crown and bridge, aesthetic veneers, whitening, bonding, restorative

fillings, denture service, dental implants, TMD therapy and children’s dentistry.

Nash is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is a member of the Minnesota Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

Jane Cahill Poole joined the law firm of Andrew & Bransky PA as an associate attorney. She represents labor unions and employee benefits plans and practices in the area of employment law.

Poole is a Duluth native and graduate of Duluth Central High School.

Singularity TMD Video Round Up: Freeze, Suspend, Age, & Pulse Your ...

In a sequel plagued gaming market inundated by titles that appear to be made essentially for multiplayer conquest, only to have a single player mode tacked on a few days before development closes, Singularity, an upcoming title from Raven Software, hopes to become a beaming light in the dark tunnel that is today’s multiplayer fueled gaming era.

The main storyline of Singularity takes place on an island known only as “Kartorga-12″, and of course this island happens to be inhabited by crazy scientists working on a top secret project. And keeping with traditional video game culture, this project of course backfires, rendering the island cut off by the Russian Government. In turn, America sends someone to access the damage, thereby introducing us to the story’s protagonist; Nate Renko.

I’ve been following this title on and off for quite some time now, though it wasn’t until recently that my interest was reignited. What caused this you ask? Well it was a video posted to YouTube containing around 90 seconds worth of footage highlighting a Powerglove like contraption dubbed the “TMD”, or “Time Manipulation Device” for us less acronymically inclined folks.

Now that you’ve got a little back story under your belt, let’s delve into the four TMD controlled applications, which are all showcased in their own Activision released vignette below.

The first in our video/information round up is the “Age/Revert” function, which as you’ve probably guessed, allows you to control time and morph objects accordingly.
